Congrats to the great PR that Public relations firm MMW Group are achieving for their on-going online mothers day campaign for 1-800-Flowers in the US. The online campaign is a component of the integrated campaign including print and tv.
Focusing on online, it is refreshing to find a ready list of tried, tested and working online marketing campaings.
They have a BLOGGER OUTREACH PROGRAM, led by 1-800-Flowers’ blogger and “floral lifestyle expert” Julie Mulligan who is recongnising ‘mommy bloggers’ for their ’sytlishness’. Julie rewards the lucky winners with aclaim, bouquet and a discount voucher for their readers which the recipients then blog about, and we assume their followers then buy their bouquets using the voucher.
This is then supported by a TWITTER account, FACEBOOK page, microsite and SWEEPSTAKES for people to submit their own nominations for mothers that deserve the spotlight.
