If you are using an up-to-date web browser there is a favicon in it. It is ths space just in front of where the URL appears. Google are causing a stir this week by adapting a totally new look for their favicon rather than an adaption of their logo. But honestly how would they squeeze six letters into that size and do they want to be known only by their distinctive capital G?
