Whilst on the subject of all things green, I see advertised/announced in this week's issue of PRWEEK the winners of the 2008 Green Awards for Creativity in Sustainability and a great cross selection of those you'd expect; such as Website (under 50k) Friends of the Earth's http://www.thebigask.com, Campaigner http://www.Batterrecycling-uk.co.uk (what a mouthful of a url - wonder why they had to have the -uk at the end and didn't think that co.uk was enough to identify the site as from the UK?) and digital Green Thing's Walk the Walk.
and those you wouldn't necessarily expect; Nokia for overall winner and internal communications winner.
See full list of winners at http://www.greenawards.co.uk.

I've got addicted to seeing what other countries are doing to inspire and mobilise the general population to change their habits. In the UK 'Do The Green Thing' site is effective; http://www.dothegreenthing.com/about.
