We have just developed and donated Thusanani UK’s new website and blog. Thusanani is an African word that means “helping each other”. It’s a grass roots charity in South Africa which we have supported from the UK. It’s in the process of being registered with the Charity Commission in the UK so that they can drive a hard fundraising campaign.
The object of the charity is to help Children in South Africa who are affected by HIV. There are many more than you care to imagine: orphans who are often codemned to institutions where they spend their formative years in a cot staring at a blank ceiling.
Thusanani provides training and occupational therapy in these institutions and creates a viable future for these children. HIV is such a complicated issue in South Africa. Especially from a political and educational point of view and it is impacting the lives of everyone in this land of hope and opportunity.
Thusanani is out there making a difference for as many children as possible. They are actively looking for people to help, fund and further this incredible cause. Please contact us if you want to get involved.
