Hitwise statistics from their January newsletter reveal today that the BBC’s iPlayer has jumped a massive 1034 spots up to be the 80th most visited site in the UK.

It was folklore. Revenue from online ‘would surpass’ off line. And now it is very real. Google’s advertising revenue was larger in Q3 2007 than ITV’s. People paid for more sponsored links than 30 second commericals on prime time TV.
